Spring in Manor Park

Spring sunshine came to Manor Park this morning.

Your local officers have been out and about, engaging with the local community.

At Manor Park library we spoke to residents about ongoing issues at Forest View Road E12.

Drug users have been gaining access to the blocks and loitering on the stairs/landing - something residents find intimidating and which has a serious impact on their quality of life.

This location has been on the SNT's radar for some time - only last week PC Ayesha Mohammad 2466NE made yet another arrest at that location.

We were joined by local Councillor Pushpa Makwana (pictured in red) - she discussed the issues with those present and we are planning to arrange an evening walk-a-about.

The photo also shows one of the lovely ladies from Manor Park library - staff there have worked closely with their local Safer Neighbourhood officers over a number of years.
